THE ART OF CRAFTSMANSHIP

To shape the future, we honor the past.
The ambitious design of DRK Kurai redefines what eyewear can be.

To realize this vision, we turned to Sabae, the historic centre of Japanese eyewear craftsmanship. Here, master artisans carry forward generations of knowledge, working with rare, time-honoured machinery to shape every detail with absolute precision.

The result is a fusion of avant-garde design and the enduring soul of Japanese mastery.

CENTURY-OLD PRECISION

In Sabae, history breathes. Our artisans employ heritage tools and century-old techniques to bring a modern vision to life. Each movement and every turn of a vintage press carries generations of accumulated knowledge, shaping raw material into eyewear that is both timeless and extraordinary.

TITANIC EFFORT

We source only the finest pure Japanese titanium, selected for its rare balance of strength and lightness. Shaping it into DRK Kurai demands extraordinary effort. Every curve, edge, and contour is meticulously refined, resulting in eyewear that combines unmatched durability, effortless comfort and extraordinary details.

ELEMENTS
OF PERFECTION

What you see is design. What remains hidden is the obsession that precedes it: every component hand-selected, every tolerance scrutinized, and every prototype built with relentless pursuit of the absolute. We do not accept "finished"; we only accept "perfect". This quiet obsession is what separates an object from a masterpiece.

THE FINAL ARTISTRY

True craftsmanship reveals itself at the end. Every surface is hand-polished, contours are refined to anatomical precision, and finishes are applied with a patience that defies the modern pace. These final gestures, often invisible to the untrained eye, transform raw titanium into a statement of artistry and timeless elegance.
